How to start in Durian Garden
Open your farm, plant a seed, harvest a ripe durian and take it to the warehouse in your truck. These steps follow the tutorial shown in a Durian Garden gameplay recording by iRON GAMING, reviewed October 27, 2026.
The recording shows keyboard controls. On another device, use the equivalent on-screen prompt. This guide is based on recorded footage, not a hands-on playtest.
- Unlock the farmFollow the opening tutorial, then step on the free FARM PLOT pad. The tutorial also gives you a parking lot and a bat.
- Plant a seedEquip your durian seed, walk to an empty spot on the farm and use the Plant Seed prompt. In the recording, the key is E.
- Get waterUse the WATER WELL pad to get a watering can. The recorded tutorial lists the well at $50; check its current price in your game. Hold the can and click the soil by the tree. The tutorial says wet soil grows trees twice as fast.
- Catch a ripe durianPoint at a ripe fruit and use its Harvest prompt (E in the recording). Run to the white circle underneath and catch it.
- Spawn and load your truckAt the garage kiosk in your parking lot, use E and choose Spawn for the starter truck. Hold a durian by the truck bed and use the Load prompt (E in the recording).
- Sell at the warehouseDrive to the Durian Warehouse, park in the golden DRIVE-THRU zone and use the sell prompt (E in the recording). Check your Cash balance after the sale, then reinvest in your next harvest.
What should I upgrade first?
If fruit takes too long: look at available growth improvements. If you cannot grow enough: compare the farm expansion options shown in game. If you have valuable fruit waiting: finish a sale before taking a risk.
Prices and exact upgrade effects can change; compare the current in-game description before spending. Try the reported codes for extra starting Cash.
Watch the night event
During The Purge, other players can steal durians. Stay alert near your farm and move or sell fruit when practical. Read the Purge guide for the full decision checklist.
Look for mutations
Gold, Diamond and Rainbow fruit are reported as rare mutations. Check the value in game before assuming a specific multiplier.
